Michelle Gould-President

Michelle joined the Lower Columbia Chapter INS in 2010. She has served on the board since 2020 and is currently the Presidential Advisor. Michelle obtained her Vascular Access Board Certification in 2011. She has been a nurse at Oregon Health and Science University for 29 years, a member of the vascular access team for 14 years, and their staff educator for 12 years. In 2023, Michelle became the Vascular Access Team Assistant Nurse Manager. 

Sable Phillippi-President Elect

Sable is currently the Vascular Access Clinical Nurse Educator for the Legacy Health System, providing education and training across seven medical centers in Oregon and SW Washington. She obtained her Vascular Access Board Certification in 2019 and has worked in vascular access since 2017. Outside of Nursing, Sable loves tap dancing, singing and spending time with family.

Marla Spadafora-Lead Nurse Planner

Marla has been an Infusion nurse for 30 years. She obtained her CRNI in 1997, and won CRNI of the Year in 2007. She has served as Chapter President for the local chapter in Northern Arizona and Lower Columbia Chapters. She served on NCOE for the National INS in 2004-2006. Along with Chapter President she has held many positions with the local chapter, most currently is Lead Nurse Planner for Conference and chapter secretary. Currently she is the Nurse Educator for Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services and adjunct faculty at Linfield University.

Linda Barrera

Linda has been an Infusion nurse for 29 years and holds a BSN from OHSU. Linda obtained her CRNI in 2015.  She has been the membership coordinator for the Lower Columbia Chapter since 2017.   Linda enjoys working alongside fellow infusion nurses who are also passionate about  working with local communities and sharing infusion knowledge.

Lisa Smith-Member at Large

Lisa is the Nurse Director for Pharmacy Ambulatory Infusion South Waterfront and the Immunology Infusion Clinic at OHSU.  She brings her diverse nursing background in primary and specialty care areas along with extensive experience in leadership and clinic management, focusing on operational excellence and financial performance.  Lisa is responsible for driving success and standardization in nursing professional practice while maintaining high levels of quality and focus on patient care.  She serves on the Board of Lower Columbia INS Chapter as a member-at-large.  Her interests include innovative nursing infusion care in the community/ home environment, leadership, and development of teams and businesses. In her free time she enjoys deepening her yoga practice as a certified RYT along with gardening, cooking and exploring the great outdoors

Stephanie Moncrieff

Alicia Dickenson

Alicia Dickenson has extensive experience as a Vascular Access and Infusion Nurse. She obtained her CRNI in 2001. She was awarded National INS Member of the Year in 2009. She has served on the Lower Columbia Chapter INS board in multiple positions including secretary and President. She is currently the Conference Chair. She was a reviewer for the 2021 and 2024 INS Standards of Practice. She is currently serving on NCOE for National INS.

Mark Schireman-Vendor Liaison

Mark is the local Vascular Access representative for BD/Bard where he has supported local hospitals across Oregon and SW Washington. He has supported the local chapter through successful dinners, conference speakers and connecting online CE opportunities to our community. Marks Role as Vendor Liaison is to help connect with vendors to support education opportunity, conference attendance and more.  He is also responsible for tech and website support for the local chapter.
